MPO loopback is designed for device burn-in and testing of MPO network components and systems. It is used as an optical testing equipment to test parallel links in networks or devices by "looping back" the connections from the TX (transmit) pairs to the RX (receive) pairs. They provide the most effective way of testing transmission capability and receiver sensitivity of network equipment.
Olab's MPO Loopback offers in female version which is suitable to mate with any MPO adapter or device port. It is also designed to mate directly to a parallel optical device such as a Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP) transceiver. Our loopback offers the ability to simulate network distances within the device.
