Attenuator is a passive device which precisely reduces the amplitude of an optical signal. One of the most common applications is in optical networks where erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA).

The Olabs attenuators product line consists of the PLUG TYPE FIXED ATTENUATORS, and IN-LINE OFFSET ATTENUATORS. They can be selected based on your application.

Attenuator available for Plug Type Fixed Type and In-Line Fixed Type. Attenuation ranges from 1 to 20dB in 1.0dB increment. Offered in wide variety of connector styles include FC, SC, LC, MU and E2000 in UPC or APC polishing.
